I/ CANCEL BY GUESTS

Once your booking is confirmed and fully paid but for one reason you cancel the tour, the following charges will apply in the event of cancellation prior to tour commencement:

II/  CANCEL BY GLORY EXPERIENCES

In the event Glory Experiences cancel a trip, for any reason, we will contact you immediately and offer you the alternatives or all money for services described in the reserved itinerary will be refunded in full. Such alternatives require a close cooperation and harmony between both you and Glory Experiences, we are happy to listen and do all our best to give you the fairest things possible.

In the event of such a cancellation, any guests with pre-paid reservations or guaranteed confirmations shall be notified as soon as possible and a full refund of any payments on the un-used portion of transportation service, hotel service, domestic air flights, car rental or tours will be given. The transaction fee will be charged to Glory Experiences.

Glory Experiences is not responsible for any expenses incurred by the client or for non-refundable air tickets, equipment, medical costs, etc.

Glory Experiences reserves the right to cancel any trip package, itinerary or any part of a guests’s itinerary due to directly or indirectly by the acts of God, detention, annoyance, machinery breakdown, quarantine, bad weather, or causes beyond its control.

1/ When is best time to visit Ha Long Bay?

Ha Long Bay has a humid tropical climate. There are four seasons in a year. Winter’s temperatures can drop down to 12°C-17°C. Summer is mostly sunny but rain showers are frequent as the humidity is higher. Spring and Autumn are nicely warm.

Summer is a good time for Halong Bay because you can enjoy swimming and kayaking. However, summer is not the high season in Halong Bay because of its hot weather.

In fact, the high traveling season in Halong Bay is during fall and spring (from October to April) because the weather seems to be cool and you experience the best time of a year.

2/ How far is that from Ha Noi to Ha Long Bay?

The distance between Hanoi and Halong Bay is around 150km that often takes you around 3.5 - 4 hours of driving by the national roads to reach the ports in Halong Bay (Tuan Chau or Hon Gai harbor). However, recently the new expressways Hanoi – Haiphong – Halong have put into operation that helps to reduce the travel time from Hanoi – Halong to around 2.5 hours.

On the way, you can have a short break in a complex which is full of hand-made souvenir and pottery shops. You can use the restrooms, window-shop or buy a lovely gift. After about 15 - 30 minutes, the car will continue to transfer you to the port.

3/ Will I be picked up from my hotel in Hanoi?

Yes, If your hotel is inside in Old Quarter. Otherwise, you need to take a grab to meet up tour guide at office or meeting point in Old Quarter.

4/ Can we get pick up at Ha Noi Airport?

Pick up request at Ha Noi Airport is not available with shuttle bus transportation. It can be handled by a private car only. You should inform our travel consultant the arrival time to check whether the pick up is available and suitable for the cruise.

5/ How can I get to Ha Noi Airport after cruising and what time do we get there?

We can drop you off directly at Hanoi Airport on the way back. You are supposed to reach Hanoi Airport at about 20h – 20h30.

In case you have an early flight, please advise our travel consultant so that we can arrange with the cruise and the transportation to drop you off at Noi Bai Airport earlier.

6/ Can I go on a cruise if I am pregnant?

If you are pregnant, we advise you to make a serious check-up with your doctor. If your doctor say you can go, you can. However if you are more than 32 weeks pregnant, we recommend you to hold off your trip as the cruise trip still requires some light activity such as climbing up and down or getting on and off board.

7/ I am a vegetarian. Can I request for vegetarian meals on board? 

Buffet lunch are served. And vegetarian foods are available.

8/ What should I bring with me on board?

You are suggested to bring sunblock, sunglasses, insect repellents, wide brim hats, swimming suites, warm clothes in winter. If you are travelling with young kids, candy, picture books, minigames, learning tools may be helpful.

9/ What can’t I bring onboard?

Passengers are not allowed to bring on board things listed below:

Intoxicating liquors, beverages, firearms, ammunition, explosive substances and any kind of animals.

10/ How much luggages should I bring onboard?

You should bring with you the necessary ones as there is not much space on the shuttle bus and boat.

In case you stay the same hotel before and after the cruise, we highly recommend you leave your big suitcase at the hotel. If you need to go directly to the airport or train station after cruising, you can bring your entire luggage. Please kindly check your luggage carefully before leaving the hotel or the cruise.

11/ Would it be possible to book a cruise during Tet?

During holiday such as Christmas, New Year and Tet, cruise space can fill out very quickly. We suggest you to book a cruise as far in advance as possible if you plan to travel during this time of the year.

12/ What is the minimum age requirement for infant to sail cruise in Ha Long Bay?

There is no strict requirement regarding what age infant are allowed on board. However, we recommend the minimal age for infant to be comfortable on a cruise trip is 6 months old. Infants younger than 4 years old are allowed free on board, accompanied by at least 02 adults

13/ How safe are cruises in Ha Long Bay?

All the boats in Halong Bay are well equipped with life vests in cabins and public areas. Not to mention, all of them are maintained every six months with technical supervision.

When checking in onboard, you will be guided carefully about safety instructions and equipment. Also, the staffs are well trained to deal with emergency situations.

14/ Is wifi available onboard?

Free Wi-Fi is available on the cruise. However, please note that the internet signal at sea suffers frequent interruption.

15/ Is there any special package for honeymoon, wedding anniversary or birthday vavation on cruise?

Please kindly note with us when sending your request. We are happy to setting up for your special day. The fee is 15USD per person with cake, wine, fruits, flowers)

16/ What payment methods are accepted?

You can pay us through one of the following ways:

• Credit cards: credit card payment is completely secure on our website and can be made online long time in advance of your trip.
• Bank transfer: for large amount of money, you can request for bank transfer to avoid the transaction cost. Please email us for our bank details.
• Cash: you can pay us by cash - we will collect the cash at your hotel or preferred meeting place upon mutual agreement.

17/ Should I book in advance?

Booking in advance is definitely better than late booking because you will have much time to check the prices of the cruises and select the best cruise for you.

Famous cruises are often fully booked far in advance so you will not have many choices in the last minutes.

Booking in advance also helps us and the cruise to prepare your trip better and you will also get to know everything about your trip before you go.

18/ How long in advance should I make the reservation?

Most cruises posted on our site are filling out fast, for the quality of service and low price offered. We suggest you to make the reservation as soon as possible, especially if you are planning to travel in high season months from September to December. Planning your trip ahead will save you time and hassle.

19/ What if I want to cancel my booking?

When you decide that you need to cancel your booking, please notify us immediately by email and we will check cancellation policy and let you know if you can get refund.

20/ How do I know if my booking is confirmed?

Please fill out all details on the form: full name, email, whatsapp/Line/Kakaotalk. We will send you an email to confirm and send you the link of payment to complete your booking.

After receiving your payment and personal information, we will send you another email to confirm with the brief itinerary and our personal contact so that you can call us in case you need our assistance.
